Return and Refund Policy

VDL facilitates transactions between Buyers and third-party Sellers. While we act as an intermediary, refunds are primarily governed by the policies of the individual Sellers. This Refund Policy outlines the general terms under which refunds may be processed.

 

1. General Principles

•           VDL allows Buyers to return items within 1 week for either a full refund or replacement. This applies to all products listed and sold on VDL’s marketplace regardless of the if the products are from third-party Sellers. Buyers must review our policies before making a purchase.

•           Dispute Resolution: If a Buyer is unsatisfied with a purchase, they should first lodge a complaint on the website. The Seller may be contacted where VDL sees it necessary to do so.

 

2. Eligibility for Returns, Exchange and Refunds

Returns, Exchange and Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances (subject to Seller policies):

Defective or Damaged Products – If the item received is broken, incorrect, or not as described. Where the defect or damage is not the fault of VDL, the Seller will be contacted.

Non-Delivery – If the order was confirmed but never arrived (tracking must be verified).

Cancellation Before Shipment – If the order is cancelled before the Seller processes it.

 

3. Process

·      Buyer Request: The Buyer must contact the VDL within 48 hours after delivery or 48 hours after expected delivery date for non-receipt.

·      Review: VDL may require proof (photos, videos, or tracking details) before approving a refund.

·      Refund Issuance: If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 working days.

Store credit or exchanges may be offered at the discretion of VDL and/or the Seller.

·      Return or Exchange Issuance: If approved, returns or exchanges will be processed to the original address within a maximum of 5 working days.

 

 

4. Non-Refundable Situations

•           Perishable or customized products (unless defective).

•           Items damaged due to Buyer misuse.

 

6. Seller Responsibilities

•           Sellers must review our refund policy before signing up.

 

 

Note: VDL reserves the right to approve/pay/deny refund and replacement requests within 48 hours after the request has been issued by the Buyer.

By using VDL, Buyers and Sellers agree to abide by this Policy.
